A unique game theory activity where each team’s move has an impact on other teams and the whole
XY is a versatile team strategy game challenging players to win as much as they can in a 10-round process, where each team has to choose between X and Y, in each round.
Depending on both the team’s vote and the votes of all teams, each team gets a different points value for each round. At the end of this 10-round activity, the main focus of debriefing should be placed on the overall score of all teams (sum of each team’s points), rather than on the leaderboard between teams. This forces teams to get out of a competitive mindset and focuses them on inter-team collaboration and understanding the bigger picture.
